Astra MK 2 GTE, started out life as a 2l 8v gte currently has a 2l 16v c20xe (redtop) starts and runs, no nasty noises, bulkhead, engine bay and floor plans are very solid. Body work does require some attention in the past it has had a full ermishar body kit put on and the residue is still visible on the side of car (see photos). In my opinion it would benefit from a new set of sills and a respray this would give you a very tidy gte. It also has a 16v rear axel with brake disc set up, digital dash all in working order.
